Brion Bergen
Managing Partner, Family Service
Brion Bergen, a Miami native and FIU Business Administration graduate, began his career in retail management, where he held leadership roles and helped onboard, train, and develop hundreds of associates. Rising to Regional Manager, he oversaw 139 locations before transitioning to the death care industry eight years ago.
Starting as a Family Service Advisor in Jacksonville, Brion quickly advanced to Sales Manager, Market Sales Manager, and most recently led one of Central Florida’s largest combo locations through three record-breaking years.
Brion’s purpose is simple but impactful: "Encourage, Support, and Be Kind." Passionate about service, he is dedicated to the families he serves and the teams he leads.

Kasha Bopp
Managing Partner, Operations
Kasha brings a wealth of experience to her new role as managing partner of operations for Memorial Park Funeral Home, Crematory and Cemetery, which she assumed at the beginning of 2025. In this role, Kasha will be instrumental in providing a fresh perspective and strategic approach to the overall operations of our funeral home, crematory and cemetery.
Kasha moved to Florida from Arlington, Texas, in 2012. After spending six years in Boca Raton, she moved to the St. Petersburg area in 2018 when she joined the Memorial Park team as the office manager. Kasha’s administrative and management experience provided her with the necessary tools to guide our administrative team, provide beneficial support to our sales team and become a valuable part of our leadership team. During her three years in the office manager position, she also designed gardens and mapping for the cemetery. After spending time in this position, she made the decision to change roles and accepted the position of our cemetery superintendent. Her focus and expertise helped provide the best service possible to our families.

Ross Nelson
Cemetery Superintendent
Ross grew up in St. Peterburg, FL. After High School he began working at Publix as a stocker and then promoted to Assistant Grocery Manager.
Ross then decided to start up his own business in landscaping which he owned for 11 years. He then decided he was ready to move on to a new adventure.
After selling his business, he applied at Memorial Park Cemetery and was hired on as a Cemetery Caretaker. For six months he worked on the landscaping team edging memorials, trimming trees, hedging and performing all landscaping tasks. Because of his attention to detail and work ethic, he was chosen to learn the service team duties such as preparing and standing services, installing memorials, completing customer service requests, and operating all large equipment.
Ross excelled at all aspects of cemetery maintenance, which led to his promotion to Foreman of Services. Ross was in this role for 2 years before again being promoted to Assistant Superintendent. For 3 years Ross continued to lead the maintenance team while also learning the responsibilities of the Superintendent. He then accepted the Superintendent position and now leads both our Memorial Park & Woodlawn maintenance teams.
His hobbies include skateboarding, playing music, boating and spending time with friends and family.
We illuminate paths to peace with personalized ceremonies and memorial tributes that honor your loved one.
