William J Zavasky Sr.'s Obituary
William J. Zavasky Sr., 92, formerly of St. Pete Beach, passed away on Friday, August 2nd, 2013. He is survived by sister, Irene Carloni, son, William Zavasky Jr. and wife Melissa Zavasky, daughter, Deborah Maggart and four grandchildren; Genevieve Zavasky, William Zavasky III, Margarette Zavasky and Cheyenne Maggart. Mr. Zavasky was born in Cleveland, Ohio, later moved to St. Pete Beach, Florida, and then spent his final days in Elizabethton, Tennessee. He was a US Coast Guard veteran of World War II. After serving our country, he was self-employed, owning a gas station, a hardware store and a bakery. He was also an avid boater, who loved to fish. Services for Mr. Zavasky will be held Saturday, August 10th, at 10:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery, in St. Petersburg.
