I have many fond memories of Uncle Bill and I am glad to have them. Many trips to St. Pete with the family. He is missed but in his heavenly home which is no better gift!
I would like to convey my most sincere condolences to my good friend, brother from another mother,Bill Zavasky on the passing of his father. My prayers are with you and your family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. I will always remember Uncle Bill when I pass a hardware store or hear an accordian!
We would like to express our sympathy to all of the Zavasky family in the loss of your father, grandfather, brother and uncle. You must be proud of his service to our country, his work ethic and love of family.
He lived a long and meaningful life that will always give you fond memories. We wish you peace. Scott and Kathy LaDuke
When you were very young, you built a sailboat in our backyard. When it got dark, I was your "hold the extension light" person. Later on we sailed on that boat on Lake Erie, with no motor or oars. It proved what a good sailor you were. I love you and will miss you. Irene
I will never forget when Uncle Bill made me drive his boat on one of our visits with him. I was scared and all he said was "keep it between the buoys." My prayers are with the family.
The last time I saw Uncle Bill was at my Mom's funeral in 2005. He was happy and healthy. I, as a kid, remember him many decades earlier when he owned the hardware store in Cleveland. Later, my Mom always talked about him and enjoyed visiting with him during the time she lived in Florida. I am sure he is now in heaven meeting with his many brothers and sisters who have preceded him.
I will never forget, as we made bread and donuts in the Hessel, Michigan bakery in 1970, Uncle Bill would always say, "the faster I go, the behinder I get"... a truer statement there never was. Rest in Peace, Uncle Bill, God will have a hard time keeping up with you in Heaven.
wish we could have made it to the funeral. our thoughts will be with you all.
