I knew Jeff since 2nd. grade, he was a true friend with who I've made many memories with, he will be missed by many.

I knew Jeff for several decades as a fellow labor and employment law practitioner. He was the consummate professional, a worthy adversary in disputes, and a tireless advocate for his clients. We recently had the chance to connect again when I began teaching at USF and he shared his experiences there with me. He was a kind person and a great lawyer! The Labor and Employment Law Section has an award we grant posthumously to those in the labor and employment law field who make substantial contributions to that field, and we would love to honor Jeff's memory by submitting Jeff's name for consideration!

I had the privilege of serving with Jeff while he was on the Executive Board of the Florida Professional Firefighters. Later while I served as a District Vice President of the International Association of Firefighters Jeff had become an attorney representing firefighters and others in labor issues. It was as a teacher to these groups in which Jeff found his niche. He taught reasonable, common sense and respectful relations, always respectful of all parties involved.
He had a marvelous sense of humor often based on logic, or often, the absence of it in many cases. Jeff was a fine man, a gentleman and a fraternal brother of the best kind.
