My bonus dad will be so missed by so many. We are so blessed that he came into our mom's life and ours so many years ago. He absolutely hated driving with me. He said I didn't know what a stop sign was or a speed limit. He did enjoy our phone calls though on my way home from work as he was safe in his home. :-)
We shared a love for dogs. His favorite of mine was our grouchy wolfdog Lucian but Wayne was so crazy about him. Lucian didn't like many people but took to him right away.
Every time I came to Florida, we made a point of going to Sam Seltzer's for our favorite medium rare prime rib. Something else we shared a love for.
We are so thankful for him taking care of our Mom when her health failed her. He certainly earned his wings in Heaven, here on earth.
