Virginia "Ginny" Hay's Obituary
Virginia Cornell Hay “Ginny”, aged 79 of Pinellas Park, Florida passed away on October 12, 2022. She was born on September 17, 1943 to the late Jane (Cornell) and Alexander Hay Jr. in Dobbs Ferry, NY. Ginny graduated from West Virginia University and moved to Florida in 1975. She was preceded in death by her brother Richard A. Hay Sr. Ginny is survived by her nephew Richard A. Hay Jr. (Lisa), and her nieces Laura Kordas (Nicholas) and Lisa LaCourse. She also leaves behind her loving dog Riley who gave her a lot of joy and companionship.
Ginny worked as a recruiter for the BayCare health system for 28 years prior to her retirement. Ginny loved helping others and spent time volunteering at a local school working with children and at the hospital during her retirement.
The family would like to thank Debra, Beth and Marie for all of the support and help they provided to Ginny during her illness. Your love and generosity to help her with appointments, shopping and care for her was a blessing and appreciated.
All friends are welcome to join the family for visitation on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 10 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
