When I met Vernon, I noticed his kind demeanor and love for the Lord as he labored to support the Royal Ambassadors. It was such a good work. Also, some of his organ repair stories were interesting and fun.

Vernon was a kind soul.

Vernon was one of the finest men I knew. His Christian witness was exemplary to everyone he met, and to me and my family. His goodness and generosity went hand in hand, clear examples of his desire to show his love.

I just found out today of his passing, and wanted to speak to his memory. I do not expect to find a better friend on earth. Bless you, my Brother. I miss you, but the best part of the journey has just begun!
