I served with Shirley in the Nursery Department at Starkey Road Baptist Church. She faithfully served there to see to the needs of the children, workers and parents allowing the parents to attend worship services and other activities. She always thanked the volunteers for serving in nursery. Notes were very creative cards and personal notes. We also worked together creating Wordless Books to be used by missionaries, teachers and individuals to present the Gospel.
Shirley had a sweet spirit and loved the Lord.

Shirley was a lovely lady and the life of every party. We had the pleasure of her being in our prophecy class for over a year. She was certainly the life of Linda Wallace's 75th birthday party!
