Sheila was always there and answered my every request without hesitation when as a young Trooper in Pinellas. She saved my bacon a time or two and always had a kind word when I came by the patrol station on US 19 in Pinellas Park. I used to buy Crystal ornaments for her Christmas trees every year at Dillards once they went on sale every year. I learned of her passing and am saddened by our and her families loss. I was so saddened by the news of Shelia's passing. I worked with her at the Treasure Island Police Department. Shelia was the most sweetest, kindest, and caring individual that ever walked this earth. She always put everyone's needs before her own. She was one terrific lady who will always be remembered with much love. My condolences to Tommy and the family.

I am VERY sorry to hear of Sheila's passing. I worked with her at FHP from '90 to '95, and you could not ask for a more helpful colleague. Lots of great times there. I have so many memories and in all of them I can see Shelia smiling and laughing and having a good time. From the old haunted houses to the christmas parties to keeping all us kids in line while letting us have fun at the same time! RIP Shelia
Mama Sheila was the sweetest, most caring and loving woman that I and so many had the pleasure of knowing. Ill never forget every Christmas break while in school always looking forward to the Messick Christmas Party. Walking in the front door and just being in awe of the beautiful decorations and all the Christmas trees--in every room! It was always such a great time of friends and family getting together laughing, eating, and just enjoying life. Sheila ALWAYS made everyone feel special and did anything she could to help anyone. Im so thankful for knowing her. Tommy-my deepest condolences to you and your family. But I hope you can find comfort in knowing your mom is happy in Heaven decorating all the trees she wants and that she will forever be watching, guiding, and protecting you as you continue this journey we call life. Sheila will be missed and forever loved. My prayers to you Tommy.
