Sam was like a brother to me. I saw his heart for people and for the Lord. I have many fond memories of serving beside him at Casa Hope. What I remember often was he would take the shoes, clothes, or watch off his own person and give it to a young or older gentleman in the program. He truly was a generous, funny, and loveable guy. He knew how to draw out people’s god given gifts and nudge (or throw) them into it. He had a passion for worship and gave his all. I could not attend the gathering but I will always remember my brother Sam.
This world is a tent we are the actor but our God the great director.
Bishop saying, I will remember you for the rest of my life. You helped my children. You helped my grandson and you showed nothing but love. I truly am proud. That God led me to you and that you in turn. Let me closer to God.
You baptized my boys.
I just spoke to you a month ago and you were asking me to notarize something for you and as always, I would do anything for you many times I have helped Bishop out too, and he would always pay me back tenfold. Now he can pay me back 100% by being at gates heaven door to greet me with God and Jesus Christ and my son, when I enter the gates of heaven Bishop Sam, you're a wonderful person. I am, so so honored. That you were in my life.\n And I'm so so sorry, cancer took you away from us. It took my mother at age 68. So every time I do a cancer walk, I'll be walking for you too, brother, I love you Bishop Sam. I know you're at peace and I will.

I love you, Bishop, Sam. I am so glad that you entered my life 10 years ago. You helped my son and my grandson. You helped me save their lives and in turn. I helped you many times in the past 10 years. But always done graciously because I know whatever I did from you. It would come back 10 fold. You have helped so many people in your lifetime. And for that reason, you're gonna have a lot of people hoping you're at the gates of heaven waiting for them. As I hope you are for me. I love you, Bishop, Sam.
I wish there were a lot more people on this Earth like you. I know you.
Cherished your daughters and your new granddaughter.I would love to see them again the last time.I saw them.We were cleaning out a trailer together I just noticed something 3 weeks ago.For Bishop, he sounded a little weak in his voice, but God, my witness, for God, in Jesus Christ, this man was never weak. I wish there were more like him on this Earth, so I'm sending my love to heaven until I am able to hug you again hug my son for me. And thank you for baptizing my boys.
