Ruby Schute Chase's Obituary
Ruby (Schute) Chase, 85, went home to be with the Lord on July 1st, 2017 (to be absent from the body and present with the Lord II Cor. 5:8). She is survived by Warren her loving husband of 62 years, daughter Vicki Frank, son Jeff Chase, grandchildren Nicole Murray, Caitlin Yatroussis, Gabbi Chase, Private Noah Chase, Isaiah Chase, and great-grandson Carter Michael Yatroussis; Father-in-law, L. Gerald Crews, and sister-in-law Gina Elrod. Ruby was a member of Central Bible Church (now Community Bible Baptist Church) for over 50 years and was the Awana program commander for over 25 years as well as serving as the church secretary for 27 years. Ruby and Warren met while bowling and have been bowling together ever since. Ruby was a sweet caring lady and exemplified all that a Christian woman should be. She will be greatly missed by family and friends but all are comforted by knowing that she is now at home with the Lord. Viewing will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 8th followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Community Bible Baptist Church, 3800 17th Avenue N. St. Petersburg, 33713. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CBBC Building Fund.
