Bob had a bountiful life! He took me under his wing in Shuffleboard. A bunch of us played at Gladding Park each week. He arrived riding his electric scooter with an American flag attached to the basket. He was free with his friendly advice to us younger, less experienced players. He was our Shuffleboard guru! When I won 3rd place in St. Pete's Can-Am this year, my first thought was of Bob and all his helpful tips that made me a better player. He was a true friend. It's sad that we all get old and pass away. Bob certainly left his mark on many. He will not be forgotten! John Dudley 727-674-5634

My Best Buddy, earliest memory was standing next to him with my arm draped around his neck and the other one holding my teddy bear close to my chest while we drove to the store to get some ice cream... and me telling him to " go faster, faster" and him telling me," No, No"..... next came teaching me to swim, shuffle board, cards and endless other things. And I will never forget him taking me and my girl friend to "David Cassidy's" Concert as well as "Bobby Sherman's," really big deal back then!! He was always there for me. As I grew up and had my own children and then grandchildren he was right there with us teaching them and guiding us through one crisis after another. Many more adventures continued until he became to weak to enjoy them. While caring for him he asked me, why am I still here? And I told him, "You are here for us." Bobby's last few words to me were, :" Why do you take such good care of me?" and I said, "Because you are my Best Buddy, and you took such good care of me," We will cherish all the wonderful memories we made together, and forever miss you. My fondest memory of Bob was how he was an amazing Uncle and Great-Uncle for his family near or far. My daughter and grandchildren especially looked forward to their visits with him and the fun they shared. I love you Bob. Thank you for being in our lives,
