Robert "Bob" E. Simpson's Obituary
Robert “Bob” E. Simpson (“Zootie”), 73 of Seminole, passed away Monday, March 13,2023. Zootie, a nickname his oldest brother gave him when he was 3, was born, raised and lived his entire life in St. Petersburg, Fl. He was a true native Floridian. He was a 3rd generation graduate of St Petersburg High School, attended Northeastern Louisianna University. He served as a cook in the U. S.Navy and graduated from Gupton Jones School of Mortuary Science. He became a licensed Funeral Director in 1978 and worked for over 30 years. He was a compassionate man who dedicated his life to helping others in their time of need. He retired in 2014 and spent his retirement traveling, cruising and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sally, his children, son Trevor Simpson, daughter Shannon Ramsire, son-in-law, Rick Ramsire and granddaughter Taylor, his brother, Jon Simpson, wife Sandy and his nephews and families. He was a wonderful man, brother, husband and father and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Rest peacefully, my sweet man.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30pm on Saturday, March 18th, 2023 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
