Time passes but fond memories never fade when it comes to remembering growing up next door to the Simpson's. Playing in their backyard with Zootie and the neighborhood gang. Riding bikes down to the Dairy Queen on 9th St. Just hanging out on the street corner sharing friendship and laughter. Such fond memories. Zootie always had such a great laugh and smile. Bob was a true mentor to me early on in my career and I truly believe my success was because of his guidance and support. He always listened and cared for his employees. A true gentlemen that showed he loved our profession and enjoyed surviving families.
I had the pleasure of working with Bob when he was the manager at Memorial Park! He was such a calm, knowledgeable, and pleasant person to work with, always even keel and so steady! He had a genuine way of making all who met him feel so comfortable, and I will never forget that.
