Rick’s life was a testament to service, patriotism and dedication to others. We worked together at the Clearwater Field Office for several years. Rick has a slick sense of humor. The memory I remember most was his “Chain of Command” photo display, 8x10 glossies of the Governor, Commissioner, etc…on the wall in his office! Just prior to his retirement, while he was packing his office, he offered them to me, I declined! However, he gave me a framed Appalachian Trail map to log my miles on the AT and several other of his framed pictures. I still have the AT map in my home office. Rick was a stellar investigator, nature lover, photographer and friend. Although retirement sent us our different ways, I was so lucky to have known him. He cherished natured, photographing wildlife and his beloved family. May you rest in peace, eternally, Hoov, and may perpetual light shine upon you.
My deepest sympathies to Donna and Hoover family.
