"Uncle Richie" we all called him at Bonnell's Collision Center. We really looked forward to his visits. Will never forget this man and his crazy antics. He would call in and say "Hi, this is Rich Bonnell, the famous race car driver. My name is on the sign out front!" I asked him if he was Mr. Collision or Mr. Center. He really got a kick out of that. Loved the fact that he would growl about Danica Patrick racing cars. The "dumb broad" is what he called her. We were in an Indy 500 pool once and he had her and I had one of the men. We switched because he didn't want "the dumb broad" and said she would be in the wall the first turn. The day of the race his man went into the wall on the first turn. My "dumb broad" finished the race. Took Uncle Richie a week to answer my email when I asked him how his driver did in the race. Yes, we will really miss "Uncle Richie". He was one unforgettable character whose legacy will live on forever.
