Rhennie Cook Taylor's Obituary
Rhennie Cook Taylor, aged 90, passed away on November 18, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida. Born on November 10, 1935, in Paducah, Kentucky, Rhennie was a dedicated realtor and a committed government worker with the Housing and Urban Development.
Rhennie was a pillar of strength and independence, living a life devoted to God and inspiring many to embrace faith. She was an active member of Northside Baptist Church, where she not only worshipped but also deeply involved herself in Bible studies.
In addition to her spiritual and professional pursuits, Rhennie was a vibrant member of the Red Hats Society and a talented artist. Her passion for the arts was evident through her painting and her musical talents in singing and playing the piano.
Rhennie leaves behind a loving family, including her children Cindy Ann Cook, Allison Dale Deschene, and Russell A. Cook; her cherished grandchildren Amy, Rachel, Amber, Mark, Phillip, Cassidy, Lilly, and Grace Ann; and her adored great-grandchildren Jack, Katherine, Charlotte, Evelyn, Brynley, Maddison, Caleb, and Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Dorothy Hellums, and her siblings, Lloyd "Sonny" and Lennie.
A service to honor Rhennie's life will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 9th at 11 am, the family will be accepting guests starting at 10 am.
Rhennie's legacy of faith, love, and resilience will forever be remembered by those who knew her.
