As we approach the day when we will celebrate the life of my dear friend, Rhennie, and commit her earthly body to the ground, I want to share another precious memory.
Rhennie was a savvy business woman. Her encouragement for me to set aside a small savings (U.S. Savings Bonds) for each of my children when they were very young resulted in their ability as grown ups to purchase homes of their own. I often reflect on Rhennie's wise advice and I am grateful. So while I celebrate her life as a Christian caregiver who ministered to many needy people, Rhennie was also a prudent woman who made others aware of how to invest in themselves. She did that for me. May Rhennie's spirit of selfless giving and caring ❤️ continue in the lives of those who knew her.
