I am writing this expression of love for my dear friend. I met Rhennie in the 1970s at a time when my life seemed unside down. We both worked for the federal govt. at the Dept. of HUD, when Rhennie approached me with a smile. She could tell by my demeanor that I was going through a tough time, but I am convinced (and have been for years) that Rhennie was sent to me not only as a friend but as an angel. I had been reared as a Christian, but needed counseling, and Rhennie encouraged me continuously. We found ourselves becoming friends, and that is just what I needed. Rhennie witnessed to me from her own experiences how the Lord was with me in all things, and how the Lord would see me through. My dear friend, Rhennie, on several occasions, invited me and my children to her home for dinner and Christian fellowship with others. My memories are so sweet that it brings tears. Still I look forward to seeing her again when my turn comes to leave this world. Sweet Rhennie, take your rest in the Lord's arms, and smile on me from heaven once in a while. Your friend, Susie
