Huffman, Pete, Lt., “The Legend” in the fire service, passed on August 11, 2016. After 35 years of saving lives, Lt. Huffman lost his own after battling cancer these past 17 months. He is survived by wife of 27 years Marcy Huffman Read Obituary
Mark and I wish to extend our condolences to Pete's family. We will keep your family in our prayers. A lot has been said about what a wonderful firefighter Pete was, I wanted to speak of Pete the man. He was a great man and a dedicated father. He loved his wife Marcy and family. May the good Lord watch over your family during this time and always.

"Pete was a true friend and mentor to our son Adam. Adam always enjoyed time spent with Pete, especially their trips to E-One to check the progress of the Fire truck being built for the City of Gulfport. We were also blessed to have known Pete. He was a very special person and he will be missed by all of us. Asking God's blessing for Pete's family and friends at this difficult time. RIP
