Nguyễn Vĩnh Long, 85, of Pinellas Park, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 30, 1940, in Gia Định, Saigon, Vietnam, Long lived a life marked by service, devotion, and joy. He proudly served as a Major in the Vietnamese Air Force, exemplifying honor, duty, and commitment.
Above all, Long was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Lê Thị Hóa; his daughters and their husbands, Trang and Trí, Trinh and Phong, and Vân and Ngân; and his cherished grandchildren, Jonathan, Andrew, Janine, and Lori.
Long was known for his warm sense of humor and outgoing spirit. He loved to sing, socialize, and spend time with friends and family, filling every gathering with laughter, stories, and joy. His presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th Street N., St. Petersburg, FL 33709, followed by a funeral Mass at 6:00 PM at Holy Martyrs of Vietnam Parish, 4000 43rd Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33714.
Nguyễn Vĩnh Long will be deeply missed, but his love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
