Michael John La Paglia's Obituary
Michael John La Paglia, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at home in St. Petersburg, Florida, just shy of his 59th birthday. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Michael brought laughter, love, and joy into the lives of everyone who knew him.
Michael was a dedicated network technician and an even more devoted family man. He was an incredible father whose daughters, Mia and Ava, were the absolute light of his life. He cherished every moment with them—they were true daddy’s girls.
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Jeni La Paglia, who will deeply miss the joy, partnership, and unwavering love they shared. He is also survived by his daughters Mia and Ava; stepchildren Kate Eldridge and Jacob Eldridge and his wife Drika; his mother, Rosemarie La Paglia; his sister Lisa O’Connor, her husband Bob and their daughter Caitlin; and sister-in-law Lisa Stark. Michael was predeceased by his father, John La Paglia and nephew, Sean O'Conner.
A huge Kansas City Chiefs fan, Michael also had a passion for boating, traveling, and racing his Tesla and Mustang. He was known for his great sense of humor and his ability to make people smile. Above all, his family was his world.
