I had a lot of good memories with Mike in particular he used to pick me up in his '79 Mustang and we would head out to Metcalf Rd in Overland Park looking to see if we could find anyone to race.
After cruising up and down Metcalf for awhile we would always find a cars to race. Mike's Mustang was basically a 302 Boss after him and his dad had it rebuilt...we’re talking wicked fast and with Mike's world class driving
skills he made sure we not only smoked the other guy but totally put them to shame lol 😂 I’m sure gonna miss you Mike…until we meet again; rest in peace my friend.

Mike was genuine, a quality that many people do not have. I rented him an apartment and we quickly became friends. I introduced him to my family and friends and everyone loved him. So many memories, laughs and good times. He was truly one of a kind! Sending my deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Watch for signs from him, I guarantee that he will still be trying to make us laugh. See you on the other side Mike.
