Mom, thank you for all the wonderful years we shared whether it was playing cards, going shopping or going to lunch with the girls, we always had fun. We were so lucky to have you with us to share the birthdays, the birth of your new boyfriend, your great-great grandson Cayden, and all the special holidays when the whole family spent time together. Mother's Day was always a special holiday - it was our girls day out. You will always be remembered to us as the beautiful lady with the beautiful smile. Your loving daughter, Lynn and son-in-law, Ray.
When I think of my Grammy, it's the little things that come to mind that helped form the special bond I had with her. When I visited her, her sweet smile that lit up her face as she would reach for my hand. The first thing she always said was "How is my boyfriend?" Her boyfriend was her 2 yr old great great grandson, Cayden. As I kneeled by her chair, sometimes she would share stories/memories of her life, other times we sat quietly in solitude while she held my hand tight or stroked my hair. These are the gentle sweet times I will reflect on and remember my precious Grammy by. Although I miss her dearly, I know she is home and for that I'm grateful. God Bless you Grammy. Love Susie
When Charlie took me home to meet his mother almost 52 years ago, she immediately asked me to call her "Mom" and she always treated me as one of the family. I couldn't have asked for a dearer mother-in-law. I like to remember her in her yard where she enjoyed growing her plants. She was a avid fan of the Braves baseball team and of Tiger Woods- we loved her enthusiasm. I'm sure that she died filled with love and gratitude for Lynn and Ray who gave her wonderful, loving care in their home in her last years. I will miss her.
My grandmather was a strong, independant woman, but sweet. We were blessed to share the last 12 years with her in Norman and have many fond memories. She was an advid card player and most times, my partner in Canasta. She loved everyone and was thoughtful and kind. She will be missed dearly. I'm glad you're home Grandma, safe and in peace for your next journey. Love you and miss you, Karen, Justin, Julie, Josh, Jake & Jack
Grandma was a sweet and giving lady. She loved to play cards. I have many memories of playing cards with her in her kitchen at her house in St Petersburg. She was a good card player too. I am grateful that she was able to attend our wedding. She looked beautiful that day. I am thankful that we were able to be with her in the summer of 2007 in Oklahoma at Aunt Lynn and Uncle Ray's. I am glad Callie was able to visit with her also on this occasion. It is a great memory for us as it was our last visit with her. We will miss her and her sweet smile. Love, Cal, Cheryl, Callie and Caroline Moreland
