Ric-key lit a candle in memory of Kirsten Perea

A core memory for me is eating dinner on the top floor of Tyrone mall with Grandma, Grandpa and my brother Eduardo after getting my first pair of timberlands that I really liked and wanted to take care of . I felt like a young man I understood why boots were so important at this moment and you could tell by my face when we eventually got around to getting Christmas pictures taken. We both got a pair of nikes aswell and a couple of outfits for school. We were on Christmas break after all with our grandparents for a few days. So after getting our pictures taken and the shopping everyone was hungry and what better place than our go-to spot that had The best Caesar salad around and thanks to my grandparents having the hook-up at burdines. We headed up. I'm not 100% sure forgive me if I'm wrong but, we always had the same waitress and I think her name was Beatriz absolutely an angel, the definition of what a server could want to be and the manager would always come to talk with Kirsten and Grandpa Bob and right when she walked away the coast was clear my grandpa said we could have a little salt off his freshly made margarita when noone was looking. I don't really like margaritas now but after that I sure liked a little bit of the salt when it was offered. Now whenever I eat croutons I just wish we could sit across that table at the Royal palm just one more time Grandma Kirsten and Grandpa Bob. I love and miss you both every single day and even though you're gone your legacy will live on forever in the lives you've touched and look over to this day.
Kirsten will surely be missed. How she loved the Music Theatre Galaxy and put so much of her energy and love into the children's productions. I have many fond memories of those shows especially when my James was the in house composer. It was a sad day when it had to close for her and for many of us. May she rest in peace and one day we shall all meet again in heaven on high. I send my love and heartfelt prayers to her family at this time. Love from our family to yours, Cindy Perkins Weaver
Kirsten and I worked on a show together a few years ago, the little Mermaid and I was her lead, Lotus. She was a very kind and devoted lady and it is very sad to hear that she has passed! Prayers and peace to her family.
Kirsten made life sweeter for so many at Galaxy Center for the Arts. She was an inspiration. We truly are fortunate to have known her. Sincere sympathy, from The Foley Family.
