John B. Joiner Jr.'s Obituary
Joiner, John B. Jr., 76, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday 11/17/07 at his home. He came to St. Petersburg from his native Biloxi, MS. He served in the Army during the Korean War and he was a history teacher and guidance counselor in the public education system. He was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of Grace Church in St. Petersburg. He enjoyed racing, cars, trains, coin, watch, and stamp collecting, he was an avid reader, a member of the Mustang Club, and he loved his cat 'Lilly'. He is survived by his girlfriend, Sharleen Burton, St. Petersburg and his cousin Mitzi James, Meridian, MS.
