Guss, John C. 81, of St. Petersburg passed away on Monday, December 26, surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Corinne. He is survived by sons John Jr. (Deborah), David (Linn), Wayne Grov Read Obituary
It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Guss at the Madeira Beach Winn Dixie. He was such a wonderful guy and always there if you needed help. He was sometimes a practical joker. Being from Pennsylvania myself we always taked about his Philadelphia Eagles and my Pittsburgh Steelers. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. He will be missed tremendously. Rest in peace my friend.
I worked for Mr Guss many years ago when in High School at the Treasure Island Winn Dixie. He was a fantastic man. Most recently, ran into him a couple years ago and he remembered me after all those years! He will be missed by everyone, but we were all blessed to have had him in our lives.
