John Bruce Bradley's Obituary
Lt. Col. John Bruce Bradley, born Nov. 19, 1935 to Charles Bradley and Myrtle Gisvold, was taken up into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on February 26, 2019 at the age of 83 to join his loving wife Janice and beautiful daughter Susan Kelsey
He is survived by 2 children, Kathleen Stutts and Charles Bradley II, 6 grandchildren, Daniel Kelsey, Francis Cooke, Tera Johnson, Kenneth Stutts, Erika Bradley and JC Bradley, as well as 3 great grandchildren; Craig Johnson, Isabella Kelsey & Ryleigh Kelsey.
He was proud to have been born in Fargo North Dakota where he honed his skills of Morse code and amateur radio before attending the U. S. Naval Academy. After graduating the Class of 58’ “Is Great” he commissioned into the Air Force in order to fly where he served for 24 years.
An Electrical Engineer and computer Geek before personal computers came into existence, he earned his Master’s Degree at Stanford University in Advanced Data Processing before leaving to serve in Viet Nam as an F-4E Navigator & Weapon Systems Officer. His service was one of his proudest accomplishments. His military career was long, distinguished and he will long be remembered as a true American Hero.
