I'll never forget the volumes of linens she'd take home from the Careless Navigator (c. '70's, Treasure Island restaurant) when she worked there and helping with the wash; nor the times of filling her numerous books with what felt like millions of her S&H green stamps so she could get something from the stamp store. She seemed to always have some kind of project going on, whether it be sewing sashes or preparing prime rib for the priests to teaching herself to use a computer -- it was something guaranteed to be memorable like her tattoos of four roses, one for each of her children, when she turned 80. Nearly 94 years in total. One could go on ... . For a time there, she did.

Most of the kids called you "Ma" but I always called you Grandma as you were my Grandma for 18 years. I have wonderful memories of those days. It is sad to hear that you are gone but I know that you are now with the ones you have missed for so long. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Although I was born hr granddaughter she raised me as her daughter. She never sat in judgement of others, gave of herself never expecting anything in return. I was truly blessed to have had such a true christain infuence in my life! I know Mom will be holding the gates when the Lord calls me home. Give Grandpa Bill a big hug!
