Gene T Graham Sr.'s Obituary
Graham, Gene Tunney Sr. , 83, In God's hands, you have gone to rest high on your beloved mountain, where the blueberry vines sprawl , the deer roam, and rivers and creeks run clear and clean, your work on earth is done. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 59 years, Mickey Graham , of St. Petersburg, his daughter Kathy Warren and her husband Lloyd, of Pinellas Park, his son, Gene Graham, Jr and his wife Laura of St. Petersburg, and his daughter Laurie McGahee and her husband Allan of New Port Richey. He also leaves behind 5 adoring grandchildren, Barbie Casper, Megan Graham, Dylan Bumgarner, Tyler McGahee, and Caroline Graham. Born February 23, 1930, his life's journey took him from a coal miner in West Virginia to an entrepreneur who, with his wife, opened the most successful produce market in St Petersburg, Graham's Market. He was a tireless, kind man with high scruples and devotion to his loved ones. In his retirement he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family, who were always first in his life. He has left a large hole in the heart of our family. We will miss him. Services will be held at Memorial Park located in St. Petersburg, Monday, September 16, 2013, with visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and funeral services directly afterwards.
