I have known Frances since my mother, June Stevens, entered Arden Court Seminole in April 2011, living in the Boathouse Section. At first they shared a dining room table by the window until they were both moved to a four person table with two other women. I very much enjoyed visiting with Frances every time I visited my mother. She would always smile & wave to me. When my mother had sad times, she would try to cheer her up & make her laugh. She was very kind & loving to my mother & me, a bright, friendly spirit. There is a picture on the bulletin board of when they once baked cupcakes (& other goodies) together the first year my mother was there. I have missed seeing Frances since she was moved - I was told "to be closer to her family" and was so sorry to read in today's Tampa Bay Times that she had passed away last Saturday. I never knew that she went by the name "Vi" or that her middle name was Violet, which is a beautiful name and I would have called her by that. I remember when I asked her when her birthday was, she told me, "I'm a firecracker" and that she was. Please accept my sympathy in your loss. Carol Harsch [email protected]
