Ernest F Little DVM's Obituary
Little, Ernest F, DVM, 90, of St. Petersburg died June 11, 2009. He was born in Greene County, Ohio to T. Paul and Grace Bryan Little and preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Orsadee Stewart Little. He was a graduate of Ross Township High School in Jamestown, Ohio, attended Cedarville College and Ohio State University and graduated from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He was in the Army ROTC program during WWII, then practiced veterinary medicine in Ashland, Ohio. He was in the Army Veterinary Corps in the Korean Conflict and was a graduate of the Army's Meat and Dairy Hygiene School in Chicago. After owning his own veterinary Clinic in Ashland for 40 years, he retired in 1983. During his years in Ashland, he and his wife were active members of Trinity Lutheran Church. He and his wife moved to St. Petersburg in 1985 and were members of Pasadena Community Church. His hobbies included piloting his own plane and ballroom dancing. He is survived by daughter Joy Tobias and her husband Jan of Waynesboro, VA; son Roger D. Little and wife Sally of St. Petersburg; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
