Little, Ernest F, DVM, 90, of St. Petersburg died June 11, 2009. He was born in Greene County, Ohio to T. Paul and Grace Bryan Little and preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Orsadee Stewart Little. He was a graduate of Ross Read Obituary
I met Dr. Little while taking care of him in the hospital. (I was one of several nurses that cared for him) He was a very special man and I enjoyed talking with him and helping to care for him. I am very saddened to hear he passed. My sympathies to his entire family.

I'm so very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a wonderful man.
I was the young girl who worked for your parents during the last several years of their practice. They were both very dear to me. I thought of them as my second parents. In fact, they called me their second daughter. We kept in touch all these years through Christmas cards and occasional letters. I tried to get together with them while vacationing in Florida several years ago, but it didn't work out. I've always regretted that. Dr. Little really cared about his clients and patients. The practice wasn't the same after they retired.
This world won't be the same without your dad, but I'm happy for him. He and your mom were so devoted to each other and are now able to be together again. I'm sure that is comforting to you.

To the family of Dr. Little - I express my sincere sympathy. I have such fond memories of your father as being a most kind and comforting person. He was the veterinarian to our precious "mutts" and we missed him so much when he retired. Sincerely, Nancy Van Meter Matia
To Dr. Little's family...Our family were the grateful recipients of your Dad's talent and expertise in caring for our dairy herd. His kindness and gentle nature in working with our animal "family" were superb. Our lives were made better by his choice of vocation. My sympathy is extended to you as well as my best wishes.
Dear family of Dr. Little,
I have very fond memories of your dad. He was our vet when I was little and it is where I saw my first photo of an Afghan Hound (I have had the breed since the early 70's).
Your dad also was the only person to diagnose my dog with a skin condition in the 70's. He was a great vet and I enjoyed his people skills also. I hope he and your mom lived the "good life" their many years in Florida.
I still go to the vets that are on your old property and think of your dad.
My condolences to all of you in this difficult time.
