My memory of this BEAUTIFUL SOUTHERN LADY began in December 2013 . She was kind enough to act as the go between for a friends apartment and me . She was certainly going to make sure that I was who I said I was . Within a day of our first meeting she was feeling at ease with me . As I had traveled to attend my brother in-laws wake Elly wanted to learn about me and my family . We spent a fair amount of time talking about our families and where we had grown up . As it turned out New Years Eve 2014 we , along with Zane were the only ones in the building . She made sure that if nothing else we could wish each other a Happy New Year , no bubbly tho . From that point on Elly and I spoke frequently and became buddies , no holes barred buddies who could talk about anything . We bantered about her love of the Cowboys , and my NY Giants . She will be forever in my Heart . My condolences to her beloved family and all who knew her . She was a Belle of Louisiana who told it like it was . LOVE YOU FOREVER ELLY 😎

Sheri, I am so sorry for your loss and everyone else that was able to know Aunt Eloise and visit with her often. There are so many memories that I have when everyone would visit at Popaw’s house of Aunt Ella and my mom with the other sisters that are funny. I can’t even remember all of them but most of them were wonderful. The obituary is very good and her picture is beautiful. I remember that one of her, seems like she always looked like that, a beautiful lady. I’m so glad Cecil and I got to visit with her that summer before she was very sick. Love Cecil and Jean

She was so beautiful! As much as Sheri loved her: its obvious that's true both inside and out. I'm deeply sad for your loss baby girl.

From Baton Rouge to Madeira Beach! She was the best!!
