Hi friends & family to beloved Eileen, I met Eileen later in her life, after her husband passed. I immediately loved her like family. I, too, at 40 years old, lived in the Assisted Living Facility in which she resided. I was drawn to her, as she would ask for her husband to come get her. She thought he was at work. I believe he was in a much better place than work, in Heaven. She clearly loved him immensely. Her missing him was very impressionable on my heart. I would sit with Eileen and talk as though she was my own grandma! Eileen would wink at me and blow me a kiss. I miss her terribly. I’d share a Girl Scout cookie or two 😋. I feel certain that she’s peacefully in Heaven, reunited with her husband. Eileen will always live on in my heart. I thank God for our meeting!

I met Eileen and Hank at a financial seminar about 10 years ago.We met a few times and eventually they became clients. I was very impressed with both of them! Hank was very straightforward
with his questions and knew what he wanted for Eileen and himself.
After we completed our business I remember spending many hours visiting the two of them.Eileen and Hank invited me over for dinner several times.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them.Even when Eileen was having some medical issues she would always ask me how my daughter’s volleyball was going and how my wife was doing.
They loved their family.You could tell that they loved each other.
I feel fortunate to have had them as clients but more importantly as friends.
Eileen and Hank were cool people!

My wife Cheryl and I spent two years together with the Mulder family living on the tiny Pacific island of Kwajalein in 1972 & 1973. We were newlyweds at the time, and it was our first time away (far away) from our friends and family. Hank and Eileen "adopted" us as part of their extended family and acted as surrogate parents to us. Life on a small pacific island sounds idyllic, but life's problems don't go away just because you are in paradise. Cheryl was diagnosed with a tumor on her back and had to go to Honolulu which was the closest hospital that could deal with it. Due to military and corporate regulations, I was not allowed the leave the island to go with her. Eileen volunteered to go with Cheryl and provide moral and physical support before, during, and after the operation. She also kept me up to date via phone on developments throughout the ordeal. The tumor was benign, and Eileen returned with Cheryl after her recovery period. Eileen's caring and comforting nature together with her willingness leave her family and give her time to help us will always be remembered. She was a loving and beautiful person. May her memory be eternal.

Dear Mrs. Mulder,

It saddens me that you are no longer of this earth. I know you are with our Lord and past loved ones now. When I was young, one Sunday service at the United Methodist Church of Parsippany, the sermon was about death. I ran from the Church crying and went to my parents car. You came out and sat with me in the car. You held me and comforted me as I cried on your shoulder. You explained to me what happens when we die. I have never forgotten that Sunday morning, the words you spoke, nor you. I have taken your words and passed them on to my children. You have and always will have a special place in my heart. I will miss you dearly :*(

I feel honored to have known Eileen and Henry for just a few years. I was inspired by their love for each other and their kindness to me. They both seemed to live a long and loving life with each other as "True Loves" and now they are together again with their Lord and each other in eternity. May God Bless your family through this time and may the Peace of God's grace shine on your family as you remember your mom this week.

An old memory from the 1970’s... I recall a handful of visits in the Mulder kitchen, hanging out with Kim as a teenager... The cheer & laughter I enjoyed there in the presence of Mrs. Mulder gave me my first realization that not all mom’s were serious no-nonsense types. I remember Mrs. Mulder’s warm smile and joyful eyes... and I recall marveling at the fun and laughter she shared with her children, husband, and her own mom, who she lovingly cared for. I am happy to have this memory. My heart goes out to the entire family.

I am so sorry for Eileen's passing. She and Betty Schwab are dancing together now!! Betty thought so much of Eileen and wanted me to take her to the Pere Marquette in Peoria to get mementos of the place before it closed. She boxed them carefully and sent them to Eileen...to remind her of Grace's time there. Betty so enjoyed any phone calls with Eileen!! Sending love and concern to you during these days. So glad you were about to be with her at the end.
