Nicholson-Holmes, Edith L., 96, of South Pasadena, passed away at The Springs at Boca Ciega Bay on January 21, 2018. She was born in Evansville, IN, March 28, 1921. She had a full happy life until becoming a victim of the cruel Al Read Obituary
Aunt Edie was such an amazing woman of God. She showed Christ-like love through how she lived her life. I will remember her contagious laughter and bright smile. She always had a hug to share and never wanted company to leave. Never a goodbye, always wanting one more hug.
To Dick, Jackie, Jo, Jim, and all grand-kids: may you find peace while remembering her extraordinary life and knowing that she will live eternally in her heavenly home where there are no tears or sadness. So thankful that she was part of our family...she will be so missed by all.
I loved Aunt Edie and all of you. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. We are thinking of you always and know that she is reunited with family and friends now and keeping watch over you all. We love you!
Where do I start with my memories of Aunt Edie. She has been a part of my life for as long as I remember. After my Grandma Lewis died, she became a second Grandma to me as they were so much alike, it seemed as if a part of Grandma lived on in Aunt Edie. Her Faith, her love of family, and her internal as well as external beauty shown through to everyone she met. She was one of the sweetest people I knew. I thank God that we were all blessed with her life for so many years. We have memories to hold onto for our lifetimes and an example to live by. Sending all my love and hugs to Dick, Jackie, Jo, Jim, all her grand kids. I will see you soon to celebrate her wonderful life. Love you all. Connie
