Its been almost 5 years mom and losing you still hurts so much. There is so much I wanted and needed to say and to know and now its too late. I hope that I will get the chance someday soon. Until then, I love and miss you so much mom.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful lady and I was blessed to have her in my life. I will miss her. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers! Kat
I was only involved in Dee's life for a small time. She was a beautiful child of God and will be missed dearly. During our conversations, she conveyed to me how proud she was of ALL of her family and how she was so blessed to have special times with her grandchildren. She was aware that even though there were difficult times, she was honored that God had allowed her to continue on to be an example to others thru her selfless time with others and making small things that would brighten someone's day. She loved the time she spent at the Effingham senior center and realized and was grateful that it could have been her in that condition. She said her teaching was the ultimate act of service to God and she knew she had blessed the lives of others. Now she gets to be an angel to continue to watch over her family, friends and others. I'll never forget you Dee. You made a real impact on the way I think about things. When you get a moment, tell God I love him. Give him a big hug for me. See you one day...God's Will.
