I loved to hear Don laugh. Don and Jay shared many Christmas dinners with us at my parents' home in St. Pete. We'd eat early, talk a lot, eat some more, talk a lot. We loved the stories of their travels and lives. Jay was my Aunt Dolly's brother, and I can't remember them not being around. Don was quite a character, a very kind gentleman who loved life. My heartfelt sympathy to Larry and Don's family. The power of love is so strong, death cannot separate it.
Love and blessings,

when I was around 5 years old uncle don took us to the 1964 worlds fair in new York city,
my sister cyndy got to drive the antique car, I was pretty upset , uncle don told me I get my chance to drive my own car soon, we then went to the ford building and I got to drive a real mustang convertible, he was my hero that day. thank you uncle don for that and all those summers in long island. love you and will miss you,,,roger
I knew Don from Riverhead, Long Island, NY. He loved his cottage on the bluff with the sweeping views of Long Island Sound and the Connecticut of his birth. He had a favorite chair near that window. He was an original owner in the 1950s beach community of Reeves Park. He and Helen would galavant off to the yard sales; he would let my kids explore his "outpost"; so polite to my Mom. Rarely have I met an individual so gracious, polite and cultured. Love to Larry and his family. Best, Jeannie Merwin
I saw
don twice a year for many years. He was always happy and fun. He was extremely kind to my mother. I pray for strength for Larry.

We had been friends with Don for years. He did volunteer work at KOP and really enjoyed the work he had done there. He was a kind and loving individual. We usually talked every Sunday evening and he talked with his sister on Saturday's. We went on several cruises with Don and also we took a trip to Buenas Aires and he went along. He was easy to be with. He was kind and generous to all that knew him. He enjoyed going to breakfast on Sunday's to Emily's Restaurant and looked forward to it week. Larry and Don enjoyed several trips to visit family and friends up North. Out sympathy to his partner and family in the loss of a wonderful and great man. Rev.John & John
Don Curry was a good friend to many of us and will be missed. We are grateful to share a small part of his life...it has been said the greatest tribute to the dead is not grief but gratitude. Godspeed my friend.
Rest in peace Don
Mr. Curry was always such a pleasure to take care of. He had been seeing me for nearly 10 years to take care his dermatology needs. Our staff loved him and we will all miss him dearly. He was always kind, friendly and a gentleman. A true role model for treat others as you would have unto you. Prayers go out to Mr. Curry and his family. You will be missed my friend!
