Metz, Dona Louise, died peacefully at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida on March 14, 2013. She was born February 22, 1922 in West Point, Kentucky, the fourth child of Jams and Lydia Brammer. Dona was raised and at Read Obituary
We are going to miss Dona, just as we have missed Dick all these years. Dona was a gracious lady, always pleasant, always smiling. I'm sure she will be overjoyed to, once again, be with her husband. What a wonderful team they were here on earth, and will now be a bright spot in Heaven.
I was blessed by many years of friendship with Dona. She was a warm, gracious and lovely lady. In the past few years I enjoyed many stories of her interesting life which she shared when we visited her in her lovely condo. She and Dick always sat in their "special pew" at Northeast Presbyterian Church and were quite a couple.
To the family of Dona please know how much your mother and grandmother was loved by people of Northeast Presbyterian Church. She will be missed. Blanche Ganey Administrator
Aunt Donna was a "Ray Of Sunshine".
It is and was my Privilege and Honor to spend time with her for Dinner every
week and nightly telephone calls. Aunt Donna is in Heaven now, reunited with her Great Love, Her Husband, Dick Metz, and her Father and Mother James and Lydia Brammer, Her Brothers Robert and Louis Brammer and Her Sister and Closest Friend, Mary Frances Jones.
Dona's sweetness touched me in a wonderful way. Sometimes I would deliver plants and flowers from family and friends to her room. Dona's reaction was always delightful, those flowers were so appreciated. I miss her. My heart goes out to Dona's friends and family. Phyllis
It was nice knowing Dona over the past seven years. Enjoyed spending time with her when we would have dinner out. She was a great lady!!!
Dona will be greatly missed, she was a lovely women with a great sense of humor and a wonderful smile.... Rest in peace...
