Dina Esther Wedler's Obituary
WEDLER, Dina Esther 87, of Venice, and formerly St. Petersburg, died peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017.She was proud to be a Christian and attended the Open Bible Church and the Park Place Wesleyan Church in St. Petersburg. Dina was born on October 14, 1929, in Guayama, Puerto Rico, to Alfredo Ortiz Santiago and Eufemia Reyes Ayala. Dina was a loving and dedicated daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She attended Glassboro State College, taught Spanish classes and served as an administrative assistant at Pinellas Technical College for many years. She was known for her kindness, selflessness, and love for others.She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Wedler-Johnson of Venice; and by her grandson, Aden Wedler Johnson of Stamford, CT.
Dina was preceded in passing by her husband of 60 years, Raymond Paul Wedler, and her son, Paul Marc Wedler. A Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm with a funeral service at 01:00 pm, January 23, at the Memorial Park Funeral Home. www.memorialparkfuneralhome.com.
