Concetta J. Daniels' Obituary
Concetta Julia Mauro Daniels passed away peacefully at Suncoast Hospice Care Center in Pinellas Park, Florida. She was surrounded with prayers and love by her loving family and friends. Born in Belleville, NJ, she lived in New York City for two years before moving to Florida 58 years ago. Concetta worked for the GTE phone company in personnell and many other departments throughout her career for 25 years before retiring. Concetta was a devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend. She was a master at word puzzles, loved going to the opera, loved talking about politics, going to lunch with her friends, and visiting her family in New Jersey. Concetta was predeceased by her loving husband Andrew "Danny". They shared a storybook love. She was also predeceased by her parents Nicola and Guilia Mauro, two sisters Carmela Alimecco and Cecilia Verdicchio, two brothers Nicholas and Frank, and a nephew Ciro Verdicchio. Surviving is a sister Angela Manno of Italy and a brother in law Nicholas Alimecco New Jersey; nieces and nephews Linda, Rosary, Nicholas, Dolores, Donna, Julie, Maria, Janice, Ciro, and Enzo; 19 great nieces and nephews; and 14 great great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear friend of 43 years Nancy Coeyman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Suncoast Hospice in Concetta Daniels's name.
