Though not a blood relative, I felt from the first time I was introduced to her as Aunt Connie that she was my family. I looked forward to going to Julie's over the Christmas holidays for many years when Aunt Connie came north. Sitting around the dining room table with her and her amazing family sharing wonderful food, laughing, and listening to stories about people I never knew but felt I knew from the stories that were told. She is one of the most loving, kindest, funniest women I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and left an indelible impression on me. I will think of her often and miss her dearly.
To the family of Connie Daniels. Connie was so wonderful to work with. Too bad we sometimes lose track of them after retirement. Please know you all, as well as Connie, are in our prayers. We are so sorry we could not make the service but we have our grandson til dinner time. But again, know she is in our prayers. Would like the family address to send a card if that is possible. For me, Connie Daniels will always be the face of GTE Human Resources. I remember walking into her office totally terrified; somehow she managed to put me at ease. Connie gave me and many others our first jobs and literally changed our lives forever. She somehow remembered every employee's name, their background, and had kind words for all. Connie was an example for all of us; she had strong beliefs, integrity and was someone you could always rely on. I was blessed to know Connie many years and while I did not see her often, always thought of her as a good friend. Unfortunately, our Red Lobster moments were too few.
We were sorry to hear of Concetta"s passing. Although, we had met her 7 years ago, as we lived in the same park where she resided, it seemed alot longer, as she always had a smile and a wave . She was a beautiful lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Larry & Sue Tedstone
Mrs. Daniels interviewed and hired me at GTE in 1969; I was 19 and it was my first "real" job. Mrs. Daniels and I clicked right away..she was just so sincere, nice and funny. I only worked there for 4 years, and here it is over 40 years later and I still remember her like it was yesterday. What an impression she made on me. My deepest sympathy in her passing...

Aunt Connie you were the sweetest and kindest Aunt anyone could ask for. You were always there for me through the good and bad times and especially when I lost my Mother. You stepped in and we really became closer than ever. I miss our talks at least 3-4 times a week and the "love you" exchange before hanging up the phone. We will miss you always but especially at Christmas time. It just won't be the same without you there. I will never forget you and hope you are at peace up there and having a great time with Grandma.the love of your life Mushy my Mom and Dad, Aunt Millie, Uncle Nick.
