How I wish I could be there with you, Bill, Cindy and Marty, both today and tomorrow. My Aunt Betty was so dear to all of us in the Wheatley family, now spread over Colorado, Ohio and Pennsylvania. She was the PERFECT hostess in opening her heart and her beautiful, big home to us for a stay during my sister’s (Mimi) daughters wedding. Everyone of us who stayed with her, including Kelsey, our younger daughter (and Aunt Betty’s bunk-mate), will always remember your Mom’s discussion about how her 100 pairs of red slacks were all a different shade of red! And how she loved the instant hot water faucet she used every morning to be able to pour her coffee into a mug that was already heated.
My Christian faith has grown so strong and so clear over these last 15 years, that I am sure that my Uncke Bill Hill welcomed her into Heaven with his arms wide open. Now they both rest in the eternal care of God Himself. I can clearly picture my Aunt Betty happy again.

Grandma Betty was a wonderful giving person. After my first baby (her first great granddaughter) was born, I was feeling a bit blue. She let us come to stay with her and Grandpa Bill for about two weeks. We bonded over nightly bowls of strawberry shortcake. I always marveled at her energy and how hard she worked. Although we haven’t been able to be together much for many years, we will miss her very much.
We’re thinking and praying for comfort for all of her family. Her children, Marty, Bill, Cindy and their families and her siblings.
