Barbara Ann DeCaro's Obituary
Barbara Ann DeCaro, age 86, of Largo, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 21st, 2025. Born on March 5, 1939, in Linton, Indiana, to Alex Zander Wright and Mary Ella Wright nee Sumner, Barbara lived a life filled with dedication and love.
Barbara graduated from Lyons High School and went on to a successful 32-year career as a Deli Manager at KMart. Her commitment and warm personality made her a familiar and friendly face to many. For the past 55 years, Barbara called Pinellas County home.
She is lovingly reunited in passing with her beloved husband of 52 years, Michael Angelo DeCaro Jr., who preceded her in death on November 6, 2011. Barbara is survived by her devoted children, Cynthia Spurlin of Fairfield, OH, and Michael A. DeCaro III of Lakeland; her sister, Virginia Crody; and grandsons Richard, Tony, and Michael Brown, and Michael A. DeCaro IV. She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Kenneth Brown and her granddaughter, Angela Davis. Her legacy continues through her many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
