Anthony "Tony" Thomas Chesko's Obituary
Anthony Chesko, 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 surrounded by his family and friends at Suncoast Hospice.
He is survived by his daughters, Hope Singleton (Charles), Katrina Chesko, and Kristina Montalvo (Jorge), his sisters, Rosemarie Coles, Joanne Roach (Wayne), and Florence Chesko, and his fiancee, Debra Justice. Anthony is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Edward, Joseph, Jorge, AnnaBella, Karina, and Brooklyn, along with 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
Anthony was predeceased by his mother, Rosemary Chesko & brother, Joseph Chesko.
Anthony was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 20,1958 then moved to Saint Petersburg, FL when he was in his 20’s. Anthony worked for the Tampa Bay Times for over 35 years as a newspaper distributor.
Anthony had many passions including, cooking, working on cars, fishing, riding his motorcycle down the beach coast and his family. He always made time for anyone that needed help. He was a great man who taught his daughter’s how to cook Italian dinners, work on car’s and learn to love Elvis on top of many more things that we will cherish and help live on.
His legacy will live on through the memories we shared the values he instilled in us, and the love he gave. We take solace in knowing that he is at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before him.
Funeral services are being handled by Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. 5750 49th Street N St. Petersburg, FL 33709 on June 17,2025 at 11:30 am.
