I met Tony while working in the Packaging Department at Saint Petersburg Times back in 2005. You always knew he was waiting at the dock for his papers; from the "Loud" horn announcement on his big white truck. He was a great guy with an oversized heart. A lot of good memories. Rest easy my friend. XO 💓
I had the pleasure of knowing Tony for the last 11 years. He was a wonderful person. I will forever remember him calling me on my last birthday. So sweet of him to think of me. Love you Uncle Tony.

My dear little cousin who was more like a brother. So many memories are running through my head and heart. You were so tiny and not expected to live when you were born but you were a fighter from birth. You were always such a special little boy with a mischievous smile.
You were always fearless in life from the time you hid behind the wheelbarrow (we looked for hours for you) to when you got back on your bike after your leg was amputated but your heart was always full of love for family. The love and respect you showed my parents knew no bounds and I know they loved you too. I’m sure they greeted you along with your Mom and Joe as you rode into heaven.
Keep watching over your beautiful family until we meet again.

His presence was always a calming one as we dealt with many obstacles.

Well Tony …. to anybody else this would’ve sounded silly, but you, I and close family members knew the inside joke when you would say to me “Joanne you got whole milk?” How about the time you thought you actually won $10,000 on a lottery ticket just for us to tell you it’s fake…..you were t convinced until you read the back of it…. We all got a good laugh at that, you weren’t quite so happy. Another memory I can recall was Me teasing you with your tricycle I think you were five years oldat the and wouldn’t let you have it so you got mad and picked up the closest thing to you, which was a plastering trowel, threw it caught me right in the dang ankle and for that I had to go get stitches. I already miss you so much and my love for you will never fade. You’ll always be in my heart. Love your sis Joanne.
I will surely miss you. Never will I forget the phone call where you was in a panic because of flying in a plane. We sure did have a good laugh on that. I love you and until we meet again

Even tho I was to young to remember you babysitting me it looks like by the grin on my face I was having best time hanging with my uncle Tony while getting into my moms bingo daubers. Later when I moved to Florida as a young man you would let me borrow your cool pick up truck to go cruising on the weekends & worked that insane paper route a few times with you & you were an absolute beast & I admired your work ethic never letting your prosthetic leg hold you back even out working most men with two good legs & was very proud to say you were my uncle. We would have long talks about the memories of my dad & you reassured me that he would've been very proud of the man I was becoming. When I took my children on a surprise visit to Disney & to spend some time with the family you came to aunt Joanne's house at 4am to see us off at the end of our trip & that meant a lot cause, It showed my children that even tho family can go a long time without seeing each other the love will always be there. Give everyone up there a hug for me & I'll give you one once I get there. Love your nephew- Sean.
