Ann McDonald's Obituary
Ann McDonald died on Monday, July 2, 2018 one day shy of her 89th birthday. She was the oldest of 4 children born to Thomas McGuire and Ann McGuire McDonagh. Ann was known to many as a friend but to most people as “Nana.” She enjoyed a long career with the University of South Florida working in the registrar’s office. While she loved traveling, spending time on the beach, and her volunteer work with the Civitan club, her greatest joy was time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be forever remembered by her three children, Nancy Waters (Larry), Art McDonald (Candy), and Linda Grzan (Peter); her precious grandchildren: Amanda, Tiffany (Chris), Jason (Harmony), Lyndsay, Meghann and Steven (Kelly) and great grandchildren: Mikayla, Carson, Kennedy, Paxton and Murphy. Ann will also be lovingly remembered by her brother Frank McGuire (Maureen) and sister Mary Lynch (Jack) and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Bon Secours Rehab team who enabled Nana to live an independent life and to Suncoast Hospice who eased her and her family during her final days.
