Mr. Alan Edward Gimlin's Obituary
Gimlin, Alan Edward, 53, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on March 31st, 2017. He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on April 20th, 1963. Alan attended Shorecrest Elementary School, graduated from NE High School and attended the University of Florida. He was an Assistant Golf Pro at Ponte Vedre Golf Course and still enjoyed the game of golf. He was currently a yacht broker for Landmark Boat Sales. He is preceded in death by his father Buell J. Gimlin and brother David A. Gimlin. He is survived by his parents Stephen and Joan Putnam; sister Monica Macia and her husband Jorge Macia; nieces Carlyn Gimlin and Megan Macia; nephews Brandon Gimlin, Christian Gimlin, Matthew Macia, Morgan Gimlin and Justin Gimlin; Alan’s beloved dog, Cooper. A memorial service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, April 10th at 11am with a reception to follow in the banquet room at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his name to your favorite charity.
