As a native of Saint Petersburg, I remember Alan from the Sunset Country Club days. He would come out in the afternoons to walk the course while he played golf. He was a talented golfer. Alan had a passion for the game. I figured he would someday became a golf pro. Alan is one of the lucky people in life. His work was his passion. I also remember his lovely sister Monica from North Shore Elementary School. My heart goes out to his sister and the rest of his family. I am so sorry for your loss. Fifty-three is far too young!
