Kristiana Elizabeth Duda

Kristiana Elizabeth Duda, 42, of Saint Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on April 13, 2022. Kristiana was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jesus Salazar Soliz and Rosa Olivares; her paternal grandparents, William John Duda and Elizabeth Ann McGovern; and her father Robert Duda. She is survived by her son, Tevis Herbert; her mother Yolanda Duda; her sisters Melissa Knous, Carol Redondo, and Yvette Rivers; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who love her. Kristiana was born on September 3, 1979 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, lived in Corpus Christi, Texas, and then called St. Petersburg, Florida home since she was four years old. She attended Saint Paul’s Catholic School and Saint Petersburg High School. Above all else, Kristiana was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Throughout her life, she battled darkness but still worked hard to live for her loved ones. Her greatest moments of joy and pride were inspired by her son, her pets, and her nephews and nieces. She enjoyed cuddling with animals, caring for children, thrift store shopping, baking, fashion magazines, beauty treatments, and holidays. Kristiana will be remembered for her big heart, her fierce love for her family, her beauty, her love for animals, her eternal youthfulness, and her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. A visitation and funeral mass will be held at Saint Paul’s Catholic Church, located at 1800 12th Street North, St. Petersburg, on Monday, April 18 at 10:30 AM (casket closed) followed by a procession to Woodlawn Memory Gardens, located at 101 58th Street South, St. Petersburg. Blue, green, and teal casual attire is welcomed. In lieu of flowers, Kristiana requested donations in her honor to CJPaws, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue headquartered at 4699 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33713 (cjpaws.org).
