Zoran Tomin's Obituary
Zoran Tomin “Zoki,” age 62, beloved husband of Katarina Tomin passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, in Pinellas Park, FL.
Born in Serbia (former Yugoslavia) January 4, 1962, he immigrated to the United States in 1976 and settled in San Pedro, CA with his parents. Zoran went to school for Architecture and became a Master Cabinet Maker. He was gifted and could turn any piece of wood into a beautiful work of art with ease. Zoran was also very talented out on the field kicking a soccer ball. He played Semi-Pro soccer for JAT in the 80’s and shared his love on the field with his sons. Above all, Zoran’s greatest achievement was being a father to his three children Kristina, Erik, and Austin. Aside from his children, Zoran was so very proud of his grandchildren, Zoki and Lilliana Tomin. Deda’s Scre moje “whole heart.”
Zoran loved every person he met, and the feelings were mutual. He loved playing and coaching soccer, hunting and fishing, skiing and riding his motorcycle. Zoran was proud of and loved his family with his whole heart. Zoran lit up any room he walked into with his smile and laughter. He left a mark on every person he met and made this world a better place just by being in it. His love, honesty and integrity will live on through his family forever.
Besides his loving wife Katarina of 28 years, Zoran is survived by his daughter Kristina, son’s Erik (Kathryn) and Austin (Brittany), grandson Lorenzo Zoran and granddaughter Lilliana. Brother-in-law Drago Neskovic and niece Abigail Neskovic, sister-in-law Elisabeth Skelton and mother-in-law Christa Neskovic.
Predeceased by his parents Milan and Radica Tomin. His uncle Sava Novakov. Brother-in-law Devin Skelton, sister-in-law Gina Neskovic and father-in-law Bogoljub Neskovic.

Services will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th Street North, St. Petersburg beginning at 2pm and there will also be a 40-day Memorial Service on Saturday, September 21st in Connecticut.
Connecticut services will be held for Zoran on Saturday, September 21st at 3:30pm at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church - 1 Honeyspot Road, Stratford, CT 06615. The reception to follow Zoran's services will be at Riverview Bistro in Stratford, (5 mins down the road) from 4-7 - 946 Ferry Boulevard, Stratford, CT
